Cherry Trees & Honey Bees is a new nursery and child care 'home from home' environment, with a strong ethos promoting natural curiosity, kindness, teamwork and friendship.

Our philosophy

We understand that children are competent, capable and creative. Therefore we are care-givers and co-researchers in their exploration and navigation through childhood.  We will collaborate with families to provide a safe physical and emotional environment for children's growth and development.

​We provide a range of beautifully curated environments that create opportunities for children to develop their thoughts and understanding.

Our Practice

Influenced primarily by the Reggio Emilia approach.  We want to curate environments that mix the natural world with 'home-from-home.'  Children will actively participate in creating and caring for these environments.  It is vital that they feel they have ownership over their own space.  Learning and growing in confidence and competency, as we value the importance of the environment as an educator. The space and environment will enable children to express themselves through any of the 'Hundred languages of children' such as drawing, sculpture, invention, dramatic play, movement, planting, and music.

Our Summer Programme is also available - starting Wednesday 1st July 2026.

We are here to support your summer & create exciting, inventive and imaginative weekly programmes for your children.  

Total flexibility, no minimum number of days.  Full & half days available.
